Well now I hope the new owners keep it a newsstand, and not do drastic renovations to make this look modern...

Solar Eclipse on the first day of Chinese New Year!

The eclipse of the Sun is viewed as a dreadful event, often signifying a great disaster that is going to happen. Over the years, experience has shown us that old things come to an end under a solar eclipse and a new beginning can be made. The effect on the world of eclipses has been seen to be generally felt for some six months, until the next eclipse then restructures the cosmic energies.

However this year, it s the eclipse over Aquarius, the sign of the Water-Bearer, conjunct mighty Jupiter, the lord of the ancient gods. This is a fortunate conjunction, and also marks the Chinese New Year, the Year of the Ox.

For the year of the Ox, this eclipse may bring some natural disasters but it signify a great new beginning, auspicious new beginning for which the world is hoping.

Lets all be hopeful, be optimistic that Obama can lead us out of our financial troubles.

Dad's 1 Year Anniversary

1 Year Anniversary.

It was a hard time, he taught me values and gave me freedom.
I will always cherish my fond memories with him. I was reminded that life is limited, and we should cherish every moment we have with our loved ones and not pick on the little things.
He was in the hospital for 4 months before passing away, it was a trying time and everyone was under much stress. My father passed away peacefully on Jan 12, 08.
All is at peace.

I will always remember his generosity and benovalence.
The way he treated everyone kind and fair.
I have a thousand things to say to him, and many success stories to share.
I hope I can have his sense of humor and believe in helping people people and make the world a better place.

Snowboard 2008

Woohoo!

Wachusett Dec 30th! It was fun, warm and amazing!

Charlie is now pretty good at Snowboarding!!

This is Weijie's first time for snowboarding, it will be a lot of falling and wetness...

It will be good.

Sitting in the snow again... Fun...

She's good for her first time!!

Standing on the board and posing

The conditions were not perfect. Strong winds and warm temperature makes it hard to ski as the slopes were hard and fast.

Have fun in the snow!!

I had a great time!
